Mystic CT in the wintertime ...?

we're thinking of goign to Mystic CT in a couple of weeks to celebrate my mom's bday there .... but is it worth it to go there in the winter? Do they have cool things to do?

ps (though completely off topic): we love the fudge there! in fact, my BM who drove down from MA drove out of her way to stop at mystic and buy DH and I an entire pound of fudge on her way to the wedding .... i love her

i go to Stamford for dance competitions every year, and i had a friend that lived in old saybrook... my parents used to take me to CT ALL the time... i loved the mystic aquarium... but i dont know what else there is to do...
