Nails Need to GROW!!!! :)

Ok so I just took off my permanent french nails.. Now what is the absolute best product to make them grow and be REALLY strong once there grown..

i find the opposite! lol i guess everyone is different.

i absolutely love love LOVE Nailtique. It is the only thing that has EVER worked on me quickly. Use formula 2! u will see a difference in a matter of days once they're nice & strong & to the length u want u can switch over to formula 1...i always stick to 2though..i just like it better

My nails suckk asssss and this product made my nails grow to amazing lengths for my wedding!!!! Seriously the best product ever!!!!

I find that the protein based top coats work the best. VS used to have a great one but it's now discontinued. However Orly has something called Nail Defense that CVS carries, it works great. It has a purple top.
I hear that eating jello helps too

Prenatal vitamins. They will grow like weeds I promise. You can get any OTC ones for this.

This is true -- makes your hair grow too!

ETA: I am not taking them but everyone around me is -- so I see the great things that they do!

I keep hearing Nailtique... My sister just told me she uses it and #2.. I must try. :) thanks ladies!!!

The vitimin thing I just want to avoid for now. I take so much stuff I dont want to go adding lol..

And the prenatel stuff i did hear that however i feel werid taking it if i am not trying to have a baby lol

Unfortunately for me none of the stuff works. I have naturally long and strong nails but am going through the same thing because of the arcylics I used for the wedding. For me it is weekly manicures and just maintaining them until the damaged nail grows out.

Duri Rejuvacote is AMAZING- nothing else has worked on my nails- I used to have the worst nails ever, but now they are sooo much better.

Sorry it could be just me. There was no difference with Wet n Wild Clear or the nailtique stuff so I don't bother.

I HATE Nailtique it is overrated and expensive. One person on here got it right.

I never used nailtique but some say it works for them while others say it doesn't. So you can always try it out.

My nails do grow very long and quick naturally on their own BUT if i dont do certain things then they will break easily. One thing to help your nails grow is to make sure you always have polish on them, keeps them stronger and wont break as easily. Also how they are filed is very important, if its not done right then you can get hang nails easily and chip easily too so that doesnt help the process.

What works for you wont work for someone else and vice versa. For some its alot easier, while others have a very hard time. It will depend ALOT on the shape of your nails. Some people even when they start growing dont grow the way they are supposed to. My aunt can grow her nails but when they grow even a little just dont grow right so she keeps it short bc her nails start curving and looking weird right away. How do your nails normally grow when they do?

I would say just to keep up with getting manicures. Having base coat, nail polish, top coat on them will help keep them strong. Having them filed properly will also help them from chipping
