Name a quality your husband has that you wish you had.

My husband can talk to anyone anywhere. He is just very social. I can be quiet if I don't know you.
My husband doesn't hold anything back.If he wants to tell you something,he will let you know it whether you like it or not.

I have the same problem. He is very social and very outgoing. I am shy and quiet.

He can immediately endear himself to any sort of customer service rep - he says 2 words and everyone falls all over themselves to help. Even when I try my darndest to be nice, Im still a b%tch.

DH is also very outgoing, whereas I am the quiet one in the relationship.

Physical coordination. He is very athletic and I am so uncoordinated and all thumbs.

He's very ambitious. Once he gets an idea he pretty much follows through til the end. He decided to spin off his hobby photography into dog portraits and photojournalism and it's taking off like you can't imagine. Once he gets an idea, or he finds he's talented at something, he takes it all the way.

I know that I can be pretty talented, but I don't have the drive that he does. I'm sort of lazy and I'm very easily bored once I get started.

But on the flip side, I'M the social one that can talk to anyone...he's sort of a 'people hater'...

I guess one thing that hubby has that I wish I had was the way he can solve any problem or fix anything or try anything, me on the other hand is always more hesitant.

The one thing that I lack and he has, and I would love to have is the ability to 'Bull****' - i.e. create content out of nothing and make it look like something. I can't do that, and that makes me suffer a bit sometimes.

Shamma, this side is more fun!!! I am almost done with my planning, and I hate the part that I need to do now (address invites and make cd favors, which involves picking songs), so I am just procrastinating!!!

I still have a little less than 4 months to go.

My DH is extremely 'handy'. He can fix anything. Me, I can't even set the VCR on my own.

I know how you feel the invites and the seating arrangements were the worse part for me. Anything I could get someone else to do for me I did. Good luck and see you on the side officially soon.

i wish i could be as laid back & easy going as FH is...i try, but it doesn't work!!! he's also very social & outgoing...i'm shy...

He doesnt hold grudges. He doesnt stay mad at people. I admire that yet I feel that he has to make a stand sometimes. Like his close friends have NO SHOWED to his moms 60th, and they have MANY TIMES done that over and over, never call to RSVP to things, etc. and he says 'thats just how he is, you know him'...not me...I will let you taste your own medicine...
Now these same people have called us a zillion times to confirm that they will be at the Christening, (and I still dont beleive it till I see it), BUT BUT BUT they have a birthday party in the family the following week....hmmm how they shape up when they know what will be coming if they DIDNT shape up....

sorry i rambled. TARDINESS, BS EXCUSES, and NO SHOW and last minute cancellations, are among my pet peeves, especially when the same people do it over and over and over and over and over.....
