OK, they just officially changed my email address at work and it feels so weird!?!?!
Did anyone else feel like this? It's so exciting, but yet...you feel like you're losing your identity!
I guess I'll get used to it...just curious how others felt!

Re: Name Change
I have to do all this crap when my marriage license comes. Im sooo dreading it.
I never really thought about keeping my maidan name...i'm not attached to it...but its been over 3 months and I have not changed my name anywhere...(except work - and one or two credit cards)
I really want to hyphenate my name on my SS card...is that possible...there is just so much out there with me as Erica E. will people be able to find me as Erica F?

Re: Name Change
When I go to SS I am going to have my maiden name as my middle name so it's in there somewhere.

Re: Name Change
I'm not able to change my work email until I go to SSA! How annoying All of my records at work have to match, so I now I have to take yet more time off of work and take care of this next week.

Re: Name Change
I feel like I'm in limbo right now. I've changed over some of my info (my credit cards, house bills, and my work email) but I can't change my license until after Thanksgiving because DH and I are going on a trip and he booked my trip with my maiden name . So now I have to wait until after we get back.

Re: Name Change
I already did my SS (which was very easy) and the DMV (also easy) but I needed to change my registration and I needed my title to my car and I didn't have that with me. Once all that is done, I then can change car insurance since all that info has to match. I needed to sign like 10 forms at work but part of that was because I added Gary to my medical. I didn't feel weird changing it honestly but I know some people do.
