NAME CHANGE & ADDRESS CHANGE info for our Newlyweds!

So everyone always asks 'WHAT DO I DO FIRST?' and the answers you will find are:

Driver's License
Social Security Card
Post Office [for address changing]
Credit Cards
Bank Accounts

BUT- theres ALOT MORE to change that no one thinks of.. And this thread will list some. Ladies- Please FM me if I miss anything! Thanks!

Mortgage
Home Owner's Insurance
Gas bill
Electric bill
Water bill
Medical Insurance
W2 forms or any tax forms for your payroll at work
Dental Insurance
Cell Phone Bill
Land line Bill
Cablevision Bill
Internet Bill
Passport
Any internet store that you shop from:
eBay Account
PayPal Account
Amazon
Victoria's Secret
etc etc...



And if anyone changes their EMAIL accounts, remember to change this info on any websites and your bridal registries

Also, any member of a professional association who chooses to change their name professionally-you should call said organization to find out how.

Also- after your name change, be sure to:
See if you should go under DH's insurance plan versus yours..
Update any beneficiary forms..
