Name Change Question

Ok it has been 7 months I need to do this already and I am off Monday. What do I do or where do I go first?

I did SS first
then DMV

credit cards on the phone

bring your original ML cert & DL to both

same as Jenn - my work asked for SS card for my name chg so I got that first. CCs and bills last. Verizon is ridiculous and insists on GOING to a store and showing them a certified copy of my MC - who has the time for that?! So that bill will remain in my maiden name

I went to the one in Mineola - it's just south of the train station. I went first thing one morning and there was no line

LOL, we were married 7 months ago also, and I just went last week!

edited to say if you live in Brooklyn, you have to go to the downtown (Fulton St) office. If you live anywhere else, you can go to any office.
