name change with DMV?

How do I do it?

I got instructions for SS and that seems really easy but no clue about DMV and couldn't find information on their website, just if you needed to change address.

I think it's the same form. I'm pretty sure that's the one I filled out. I think you just put your new last name in the name part. I left my last name blank and asked just to make sure but I think that's how it works. Just bring your marriage license with you too.

I went to dmv. i think that is the only way you can do it, as they must take a new pic. yikes be prepared i wasn'y and now have to go back and take a new pic. your name is connected to your pic so if you change your name, you change your pic. i don't believe you have a choice in this. and bring your marriage certificate.

I did it, it was really simple, just needed my marriage certificate. thanks to this board i was prepared to take a new picture.

I just did it today and it was simple.
You take a new pic (yikes....i would prefer not to be photographed for official id while 8 1/2 months pregnant!!!!!
Fill out a new signature card, fill out a form, pay $10 and you will get your new license within a few weeks!
