do a search on this, there's been a ton of threads...
However, usually you would start at social security, then go to DMV and change your license (and voter registration), those are the main two to do first.... After them, your employer/school, passport, health insurance, banks, credit cards, frequent flyer programs, car insurance and title etc.

dmv, the bank, and social security office needs to see the official license not a copy. with the credit cards, i called them on the phone
