Well, I'm by no means a nun...so patient, yes, but not by any means tortured

Ehh I got pretty effed in the head with an ex something or another, not even a bf, just weird situation, right before I met DH...and not gonna lie, that had a huge impact on the way I carried myself and controlled our relationship in that respect. I have no regrets about that...I stand by my convinctions, whether or not I get judged or teased or disagreed with. And I wouldn't mind if your bus crashed in to my dirtbag as well.

I did. We had been together about 2 months. We were on a cruise together. The first nigth we were stadningon the deck and he started humming that song 'I think I love You but What am I so afraid of' Well I asked why he was humming that he said that's how I feel and then didn't say a word about it again! On the last might we were on the deck again and I just said it. He said it back right away and said he had wanted to the whole time but was afraid.

1) where did you 1st meet:
We first met when we were 14 yrs old at the bus stop. I was new to the neighborhood and we lived around the block from each other. From that day on he would walk me to and from the bus.

We started dating after HS and then broke up shortly after when we were 18 yrs old. Then in 2006 I found his brother on myspace and harassed him until he gave me DH's digits. DH was living in NC and I was in NY. Within 3 months DH was living with me in NY.

In my bedroom about 3 yrs after we met! (we were friends through HS and then after HS he wrote me a letter telling me how much he liked me so I decided to take the friendship to the next level)

In 2006 our 2nd First kiss was in NC when I saw him for the first time in 9 yrs. We were in a parking lot.

3) where was your 1st date:
We never really had a first date. Back then we would hang out.

When we reconnected in 2006 we didn't have a first date then either. We just flew back and forth for a month and then he moved to NY to be with me.

4) who said I love you first and how did it happen:
We never said I love you to each other the first time we were dating. But when we got back together in 2006 on one of his vistis to NY before he moved here he was the first one to say I Love You. We were at a gas station and he was pumping my gas and he just grabbed me and told me he loved me.

Back then it was in my parents house in my room. In 2006 it was in his apartment in NC.

My bestfriend at the time set us up. Her Aunt worked at US Air with Charlie. He literally got a picture if me with everything about me on te back of it! Unfortunely I was in FL when he tried calling and no one would pick up the phone and tell him where I was..he found out a few days later..lol I called him when I got back we talked everynight for 2 hours until our first date! I had no idea what he looked like till the day before. We went out January 11th, 1998 and here we are- 12 years later!!!
2) where was your 1st kiss
My bedroom..not the way you think!..lol We were watching Austin Powers and he was sitting behind me I looked back at him and he just brushed my lips. I looked back at the tv and I thought ' Wait a mintue did that just happen? It took 4 dates!..lol I looked back at him and pulled him closer and kissed him back.

3) where was your 1st date
Sayville Bowling Alley and then then Friendlys afterwards. We then went back to his house and watched Men In Black in the den and had popcorn and Soda. With Charlie holding my hand on the couch.

4) who said I love you first and how did it happen.
He did, I did. It was a mutual thing. It was at his sister's wedding. We were together for 3 months and we were dancing to Truly, Madly Deeply. And that's when we professed our love to one another. ( It's also our wedding song and that is the reason why)

We went away for the night on his birthday weekand!..: Hehehehehehe.. :)

At the Parkwood Cafe in Babylon. We went out for his birthday weekand. So he caught me way off guard. They brought a cake over as they were singing happy birthday and placed the cake in fron t of me..not reading the cake I pushed it back to him thinking the waitress got it wrong. He pushed the cake back to me and when I looked down there, written on the cake was ' Jenn, will you marry me?' I placed my hands over my face and I was in shock I turned to him and he was on bended knee and staring at me was this beautiful engagement ring! It was one of the best moments in my life!!!!

We first met a very long time ago in the pizzeria he owns. But we actually re-met (if thats a word lol) i was with my friends at The Inn in Long Beach & one of my friends grew up across teh street from him & they weretalking & they introduced us.

Our first kiss was (believe it or not) in his car leaving 24 hour bagel after a fun night out.

Our first date was at a restaurant in Garden City called WATERZOOI. It was also my birthday so he had bottles of wine & roses etc. for me It was very romantic. <3

I totally said i tfirst.
We were at his house & we were watching a movie all cuddled up. He said i was beautiful & i told him i loved him. He returned with 'i love you as long as the day kiddo'. awwww

I woke up one beautiful morning November 10th 2007 to a full breakfast cooked & beautiful roses on the table & before we ate he said come here. He sat me on his lap & proposed. It was so sweet. But after that who could eat??? I was so ecstatic i had to go to my parents house immediately. lol lol In any case it was sweet & simple just like us.

I don't remember...I remember we got into a conversation after going dancing and I think he said it when we were laying in his bed.

I really wanted to wait until we were married but one night last Spring after we were engaged it happened. We were really drunk and it just happened. I was so upset afterwards but hey, we got to practice before the wedding

He proposed so many times I lost count! We were waiting for my ring to be ready and he kept proposing over and over because he thinks he's cute. The first time it was in bed.

so...

1st met: i placed a personal ad on Love@aol on a DARE from my MOM (of all people) after a long series of stupid boys and let downs. got 200+ creepy responses, a few scary pics (scarred for life...), and even had a 54 year old man try macking it to me *vomit*...i deleted my account BUT in the 24 hours it takes to remove it i got a very funny, witty and interesting email from DH and was just instantly intrigued... i gave him my cell #, we talked for 7 hours (till 4 am) and i said 'look, i'm not interested in prolonging this whole thing, wanna just meet so we see if we are into each other?' and he said 'took the words outta my mouth'...we meet at a movie theatre, and saw a movie, sat in my truck and talked some more.. and then he kissed me! (i've never kissed on the first date)... and tra la la and yadda yadda, now we're married :o)

1st kiss: see above...ps - first kiss s**cked because it was like a weird, unexpected peck on the lips and i was like completely freaked - he still won't let me live that down...

1st date: well actually, our first date (the blind date) was a 1st meet...so our first date after that was actually at my house...i had had a bad cold and was feeling better but didn't want to go out, so he offered to come over and hang out with me (risking catching my flu i guess) and so he drove all the way from queens (i live in suffolk) brought the movie Shrek and a box of chocolate donuts and a big thing of milk! and i was like...aww, so cute! we had a great time! (i know what you're thinking...i'm a cheap date but it was so perfect! we ate donuts and watched the movie and i fell asleep on him and we snuggled all night. (omg i'm such a cheeseball)

i love you 1st: DH said it first. he was SO smitten...it almost scared me! but he definitely said it first. i was a tough nut to crack i guess you could say. :o) i thought i loved him long before i ever said it.

We met at Rite Aid Pharmacy when I was in my second year of college. I used to work there as a part time pharmacy tech . One day he walked in and told me he need to buy a pen and what section is it in. I told him and then he said since you charge me now you have to give me your number. How corny ! LOL ! I didnt give him my number right there and then and he kept coming back and finally the third time, I give him my number and we went on a first date.

2. Where was your 1st kiss?
Our first kiss was when he took me home after our picnic date. He leaned in and kiss me and it was so wonderful ! From then on, we started to be boyfriend & girlfriend.

3. Where was your 1st date ?
Our 1st date was when he took me to Red Lobster in Long Island. It was nice. We chatted and talked and hang out until the morning.

He said it first. IT happened when his grandma was in the hospital and she was dying and he turned around and told me I am the one and he loved me ! It was so special. I was crying !

We did it when he took me on our first vacation to Florida to visit his mom and to Disney World. It was so special !

He propose in front of all my friends and families during my college graduation party. Everyone was celebrating and drinking and it came time to open gifts and then it was his turn. 1) at a bar. Where we live there's a kind of 'Cheers' bar where all of our friends hang out. Every time we go, half the bar is filled with people we know. So one summer I was going a lot with my best friend because I was flirting with this other guy, and DH was there sitting by himself. My friend goes, 'That's Nick, he's such a nice guy, let's go talk to him.' So we really hit it off and I knew right away there was something special about him. Love at first sight? Maybe. Funny thing was my friend had tried to set us up before and he was like 'no, I'm not really interested in dating anyone serious right now.' Well a month later when he met me he was totally eating his words.

2) In the car. We got thai food and sat on the pier and talked for awhile. Then he walked me to my car and I drove him to his and he asked me if he could (this is like a month after we started hanging out so I was dying for him to kiss me) and of course I said yes.

3) as a sushi place. We had been hanging out for a couple weeks as friends and then he finally asked me out. We had a really good time, and then I flung sushi by accident across the table, and he was a good sport about it. It was one of the reasons I knew we were going to be together for a long time.

We had had some pretty heavy conversations that night and when he was leaving he looked at me with this smile on his face that said 'wow, I just realized the most amazing thing ever, I love you!' And I knew that, so I totally goaded him into saying it. And then I said it back.

5) In his car. When I like a guy, I'm generally pretty easy. But I said, no, not this time. This guy is special, you should wait longer. Well, I broke my own personal chastity record, but I couldn't wait that long. And one night after a going away party for a friend at like 12am we were driving around and talking and I was like 'let's just do it already!' We couldn't go back to either of our places (I was at my parents, and he had been living with his grandma) so that was our only option at that time of night.

6) in bed. He was upset about something totally unrelated and he was like 'you know I want to marry you right?' And I was like 'yeah, me too.' And he goes, 'so, uh, that's great...um....we really should do that. ?????' And I went, 'yeah, cool, let's do it.' And he goes, 'alright then, we're gonna get married. (BIG SMILE).' So yeah, most unromantic proposal EVER. Which is funny because he's probably the most romantic guy I've ever been with. Go figure.
