I know I can count on you ladies. I need a home inspector ASAP. I already have one and that's a LONG story but bottom line I want someone who is recommended. No offense but I don't want to use Isla Engineering (a vendor here) b/c they charge according to the value of the home and it's close to $500 I need someone reasonably priced (maybe $300-$350?). THANKS!!!!!

ask your lawyer for his/her reccomendation - they'll know the best for your area hopefully

We used an engineer - which is better than just an inspector! He also did our termite inspection too. If you want his name, FM me. We paid $395 at the time, for both services, but I think his price may be more now.

Hi Curly Thanks for considering me !!! If you don't use me I strongly recommend that you look for another licensed Professional Engineer instead of a Home Inspector. There's a big difference in education and experience !!!
anology: do you use a 'Tax preparer' or a 'Certified Public Accountant' to do your taxes?
It doesn't make sense to save $150 on the inspection, but possibly get stuck with a Money Pit.
