need advice

need advice

i was invited to a wedding yesterday...rsvp'd yes for TWO ppl me and DH...last minute DH got really sick.... he has the stomache virus now
and we didnt end up going

i feel AWFUL...she is a nice friend of mine, not DH's but w/e

what should i do? mail her a card n check?

or flowers and a card?

This is what i'd do, i'd also say in the card that you were really looking fwd 2 being there but dh was very sick... just so they know why u missed it.

I would throw in a nice gift with the card and check. A keep sake frame or something nice like that. Try to make it personal. Nothing major, but enough to show you were thinking about her.

ITA with this. She probably knew you didn't intentionally mean to not come. I had that with one of my aunts who didn't show because she ended up having the flu. So she sent a nice card and gift apologizing and she felt so bad but i let her know it didn't bother me. Things happen.

I think you should call her .. even if that means leaving a message explaining what happened.
Def send a check with also a nice card.
