Need Fashion help

I need fashion help.

This is the dress I am planning to wear to my SIl's weddding. Its in the evening in NYC by the waterfront in a reaturant type scene. They are not having formal seating-more like a 4 hour cocktail hour with limited seating, so I want to make sure I am not crippled by really high heels.



What kind of accessories would you wear with this. The colors are off in the pic but in person its a fuschia pink color (like my wedding colors ironically) and its silk dupioni so it has a pretty sheen. There is emrboidery in the same color on the bodice and then down the waist halfway. Hard to see in this pic.

I need to know suggestions for shoes, jewlery, etc. I was thinking black but is that too harsh for June? TIA!

I would do metallics. Either a strappy gold or strappy silver shoe. Not black.

pearl necllace? I have the pearls Pete gave me for Christmas and my wedding day earrings. i love my pearl but you don't think it will look too stuffy?

My SIL's friends are all very trendy New Yorkers so i don't want to feel like the suburban stick in the mud.

jenn, i think a strappy silver shoe would look great. chandelier earrings, but nottttt huge chandeliers - or maybe just a drop earring and a pretty bracelet.

you could wear a necklace too - maybe one w/o a drop.

Yea I like that too. Dh likes me to wear the necklace he gave me for my brithday everyday but its not really dress-just a little baguette diamond cross-no sparkle to it or anything because of the shape.

Anyone know where to find nice silver heels? Macys never has anything in my size and I cant stand the one on 34th. too frickin huge.

I totally love how that hot green looks with the pink but I don't know if green shoes would be pratical any other time for you, I know I would wear them with jeans, but that's just me.

If not I like the idea of silver shoes with silver jewelry.

as for accessories, i'd do earrings and a bracelet.
sometimes i feel like a neckline should be bare. there is something so pretty and delicate about it.
it should be left along.
i think u have a great neckline! so i would def. do a nice silver sparkly drop earring and bracelet,

also, there are a lot of really good shoe stores around the 34th street area. like on fashion ave and anywhere between 34-39th- there are a ton of little shoe shops with great prices!!
- like in the $25-$50 range!

I have to sya I honestly love both lol. Im ecclectic BUT ...I have super narow flatt feet so i cant wear slip ons. I always need straps-BLOWS!

I will def take pictures. Its soo pretty in person. The pics dont do it justice. Its the same material i wanted my girls to wear but Jenny Yoo was tooo much money. This was 53 bucks (with a coupon) on sale!

hetaher ironically this was a color combo we consdiered for our wedding before we went with red, orange and pink lol. It was almost lime green, orange and pink!
