Need help ASAP- Food poisoning issue - Update at bottom

So as if this wasn't already a bad enough few weeks, I think DH has food poisoning. I'm not sure if I need to take him to the doctor/ER or not. I looked it up online and everything said to wait a day or so to see how bad it gets but:

-he's thrown up like 4 times & crapped his brains out
-has stomach pains
-is lightheaded and dizzy
-has the chills and blue fingertips (he says they feel numb), but no fever

I think he got this from eating leftover Christmas dinner (ham)---I know it's a month later, but it was in the freezer for about 2-3 weeks so he thought it was still good.

Do you think I should wait another day or two before taking him to the doctor or take him now?

I would take him to the doctor/ER. I am am a worrier though so better safe then sorry. He could have caught that stomach bug that is going around. Try to keep him hydrated. Slow sips of room temp water once he can hold down a little, give him a little more. Pedilyte is good too they have the ice pops.

I would take him to the doctor/ER! - esp since he's complaining about sensitivity in his fingertips & they're turning blue - he is becoming very dehydrated & may need to be put on an IV for a few hours to get him hydrated again.

I would def take him to the ER.. the fingers thing would definitely make me nervous..

if it wasn't for the fingers I wouldn't be concerned, but I would take him to the ER immediately and make sure the minute you get there you tell them he can't feel anything... so they don't make him sit around a while.

I took him to the ER because I tried to give him water and even that wouldn't stay down. We just got home now. They gave him 3 IV bags, plus medications, and they're not sure if it was food poisoning or the stomach virus going around or something else. So we just need to wait another day to see how it goes, and in the meantime he at least as some meds to help him out. So scary.

Oh, and the blue fingers was because he was hyperventalating. He wasn't getting enough oxygen to them so they were going cold and numb.

Oh my well I am glad to hear you took him and he was able to get some fluids in him at least with the IVs.. I hope he feels better soon!

OMG!!!! This sounds AWFUL!!! I can totally relate poor guy!!! You know it's bad when you can't keep down water. Thank goodness you took him to the hospital
