Need help for my mom and moh (bridal shower help)...

For the wedding, we're giving out full size bottles of wine (one per invite).

My mom and moh don't know what to give out at my bridal shower. My mom doesn't want to give out bottle stoppers. She doesn't think that it's 'enough'.

What was given at your bridal shower? If possible, please post pics.

I don't have pics but my mom gave out wrapped shower gels and sponges and the tag read from 'Donna's shower to yours, 1/25/04'

They were a big hit, in fact some ladies took more than one gift

ETA - some other gifts I've gotten in the past

trivet

I can't remember. I think it was scented candles.

I think the bottle stoppers are fine on their own.

My mom gave out wedding bell shaped soap in a little package and a wedding magnet and had my name and my shower date on it in another package and they were attached together with ribbon. Also, my MIL sewed bridal shower umbrellas for each person.

We have given candles, umbrellas (for your next shower!) Printed Pens, chocolate...I liked the printed pens and umbrellas the best. You can never have too many pens!

My shower was themed....it was president's day weekend, we had it at the GW Manor, the staff were in period costumes, a fife and drum band came up to play, etc. So, the favors were fresh baked cherry pies from the Milleridge bakery (Mom thought she was so cute...George Washington chopped down a cherry tree..get it?!

). I loved it! People loved the favors too!

For my shower, my moh gave out christmas ornaments that went with the theme.

For the showr I just threw on Saturday we gave out small beaded pins that went with the theme.

My shower favors were different shades of purple violets. Then they had ribbbons made with my name and date, glued them to sticks and stuck them in the flower pots. It caame out really pretty. I still have all my flowers.

Mine were tall coffee mugs with a small bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee in each one wrapped in tulle. I am a HUGE addict! and one of my BM made chocolate spoons to go with the coffee an mug.
