Need help! 'No Wrapping' gifts @ Bridal Shower

So, I am going to a bridal shower tomorrow and they said not to wrap the gifts. I am giving a ring bowl and two wood signs. How do I not wrap this?? They are awkward sizes. Do I put in gift bag?

use paper bags from the grocery store. Obviously inside out, and just get really pretty ribbon.

I'm guessing this is a 'Green' shower?

Hmmm that is odd - no wrapping? Guess they don't want the bride to waste time opening them?? interesting idea but the idea of unwrapping a gift is fun!

Put them in a gift bag. they are different from your typical boxed gift.

OR put them both in a box with some tissue and wrap a bow around the box?

That is an odd request. why would they ask that? Maybe so that it goes faster?

both me and my cousin's shower had 'no wrapping'

people just put things in clear celophane or wrapped ribbon around it.

how about getting a basket and putting those in it with ribbon?

I think she doesn't want to open up gifts. It's an odd request

So, I think I am just going to try to find a big enough gift bag (I've been to KMart, Duane Reade) for the two big wood signs!!

it's greener and I didnt open gifts at my shower, this way they were displayed and I could see what I got and thank people as I walked around.

yeah it worked out really well. the older guests were a little bummed that i wasnt opening but mostly people were glad they didnt have to sit through an hour of gifts

maybe get some inexpensive red cloth dinner napkins to drape around the basket! Like in all 4 corners? OR you could get a red or white artificial flower to stick on there too!

Where did you find those?

This is what her bowl looks like except it has their name and wedding date. I bought it on etsy.com from a seller called Elm Studio
