Need help on father day gift?

i wanted to get my father a gps. what are the best ones? pro? and cons? Does any experience with any gps? TIA gibi

I bought my DH a Garmin Nuvi 660 for his birthday. I've been using it so much!!! It's easy to use and very reliable---it's directions are on point. I say this because the gps we had previously was a little off with the maps and proximities.

I do not personalyl have one but I know two people who have the Garmin, not sure which style, but they love it.

I Just purchased a TomTom 130 and so far I love it. I didn't really need anything crazy and the TomTom fit the bill. I bought it from Amazon and the reviews were really good.

i have the garmin nuvi 200...i think its great. It doesn't have too many bells and whistles but it works great for basic purposes and u can find it for under $200

dont get a magellen. we have one and we are so frustrated with it.

my parents have a garmin... it was one of the 1st ones that came out.. very simple & basic

Dh bought me Garmin StreetPilot c340 and I it . He was told by a couple of friends & the salespeople at best buy not to get TomTom because it does not announce upcoming turns or something to that effect. I highly recommend Garmin. Our realtor has a slim silver Garmin which I (mine is bulkier).

I bought DH a Garmin for Christmas and we love it!!! I'm going simple this Father's Day... I ordered a print of my dad and me from the wedding from my photographer and I'm going to give it to him in a nice frame. He hates when I spend a lot of money!

We have a garmin nuvi too and it's awesome. Definitely recommend it.

ETA: This morning on Good Morning America they reviewed different GPS systems. Check out the website b/c it will tell you about the different ones and which ones are good.

I have a magellan and my parents used to until their car got broken into a few months back... so for fathers day i bought my dad a new GPS from BJ's - Magellan $150.00!!

Ive had NO problems with mine and Ive had it for a little over 3 years!!!

my whole fam uses garmin and is happy w/ them. ive also heard tomtom is a good brand.

I love my Garmin. I don't dont know exactly what model it is but i think they are all great. My dad said the company started out selling ship navigation equiptment so that's why they are the best-don't know if it's true but he's usually right.
i had a magellin but didn't like it as much

My husband has the Garvin Nuvi 200 & says its great
