Need help wedding related QUICK!

So Im driving my mom to my step-fathers best friends wedding. I wasnt invited to the reception but since Im driving my mom and have nowhere else to go, I will be staying for the ceremony. Can I wear dark, really nice jeans with a nice top and nice shoes?? Or are jeans a no no to a church ceremony. Help! I have to leave in 5 mins!

Just an FYI, if you wear jeans, Jesus will hate you.

We weren't married in a church, but tons of people came dressed down.

I think it's fine as long as you look nice :) Who says you can't wear jeans in a church???

If they are very dark and you wear a nice top you are fine.

i wish I would have seen this before I left. I think I was okay when the woman in the rhinestone butterfly jeans came in before me.

I personally don't wear jeans to wedding ceremonies.. everyone has their thing.. but I have seen people in faded ratty sweatpants & dirty rubber flip flops...
