Need help with digital album

My photographer called me- she wants me to send her things to go in the digital album such as text of our readings, the lyric to our first dance, etc... is there anything else I should put in there? This was my list:

1) Emerson, 'Give All the Love' - 1st reading
2) #2 reading - Reading from Song of Songs
3) First dance lyrics and actual sheet music
4) invitation

I really think that is it... but I don't know if I am missing anything.. SonicStef- you are the maven- what do you suggest?

did you write your own vows? if not, maybe there was something in your vows that was special that you might want to remember.

Not sure what Im including but I think I want to include the hands prayer we did and maybe the vows depending upon how the layout is.

What about your best man speech? Maybe you can include a good line from that if you really liked it.

Or maybe what your husband said to you when he first saw you?

But i think what you have is more than enough ...you dont want it to be too overloaded with words.

She wants me to send it out to her this weekend. We didn't do the hands prayer... and when he saw me he said 'hi!'... so that wouldn't work.

You are right though- I do not want to over do it-

My mom sang two songs to us at the wedding- do you think I should put the titles or lyrics of those songs too or no.

I think it depends on the layout. Are you including song lyrics on a page of their own or as a background to photos?

If you are including the lyrics to your first dance..I would be leary about including another song and lyrics b/c it might look too much like a song book. Maybe just the title or a particularily meaningful line?

I know thats not really helpful but I think adding a lot of stuff like that can make it look really fabulous or make it look realy cluttered - depending on how skillful the designer. Personally, I find it difficult to include a lot of text with photos and keep it looking good - but that is just my own personal issue.

I would want a bit more control over what the layouts look like. Make sure that you get to proof the pages PRIOR to them being bound, in case you are not super thrilled with one of them.

Sassy - for our digital album the designer is going to put the time on the page of key moments.

For instance, as I am about the walk down the aisle there will be 3:05 p.m. .... on top of the page.

I saw it in another album and that is was a cool idea.

Wow- all GREAT ideas. I'm such a trusting dork- I want to give good ideas but at the same time I just don't want to be involved... I'm just so tired right now with finals and I can't deal. But I knew you ladies would have GREAT ideas.

No, not yet. It's our fault b/c we waited so long to go for our meeting.

I like the idea with the song lyrics. Maybe I'll ask them if it's not too late to use our first dance song, 'At Last.' I agree with Stef - don't use too much stuff b/c then it starts to look cheesy.

Oh yeah- the whole situation with finals is so gross.

My Step Dad actually wrote a special arrangement of our first dance song- so on the top it actually says our name & date on it with the song title- so I was thnking maybe photographer could use sheet music as background for layout.
