Now that we will have our video and album, hubby and I are planning a nice evening for the Bp and if they want to their dates and a couple of other people. I need some ideas for drinks, food and games.
We have Taboo, that's it, I am still on the hunt for Guestures and outburts. If you ladies have any easy drink recipe or easy to make finger foods please post them here. Thanks all
When you post the item, please let me know what are the ingredients that I will need to purchase.

We like Upwords (similar to scrabble but you acn build on top of other words too).Jenga is a good game too.Thats the one where you each pull a wood block out and hope it doesn't fall.

How about serving martini's? DH & I got SEVERAL martini sets as shower gifts
(... shows how much our friends know & love us! ... we had a martini bar at the Hamlet for Cocktail Hour!)
Love taboo and cranium. I was really excited about the new trivia pursuit but it turned out to be really difficult questions, so I would skip that one.

Apples to Apples is also a lot of fun with a big group.

Another vote for Cranium! Edited to say that you can get it at any toy store, Target, etc.

Shamma, don't laugh but me and my friends play it at lunch everyday at work!!! Before we moved to this building, we had a tv and would watch soaps or Jenny Jones and play a game, and now we have no tv, so we just play the game!!! And because I play so much here, I go home and kick Joe's butt!!!!

Deb, Roger is good, he beats me all the time, so maybe you and I could team up against the men

When my friends and I play games we always play Pictionary, we love that drunk and sober, ha! We also got the new Trivial Pursuit game and my GF and I thought yes, we will finally know some answers and guess what, we didn't!! BOO!

And I love Cranium as well, you need the Primo Edition which is much better than the regular edition. Got these all at Target but Toys R Us, has them as well.

Re: Need help with planning a fun night!!
Angela, that was the name of the game I was looking for: Balderdash. Just played it this weekend with some friends and loved it. We had alot of fun.
I have another fun board game called Battle of the Sexes. We kind of made up our rules but it is where girls get asked questions about traditionally male things (sports and cars) and guys get asked girls questions (about makeup and fashion). Girls won, of course! It was lots of fun and some of the questions were pretty tricky.
I would get really cool drinks and fun chips and dips and picky foods and play fun game and watch the video. I like the rum punch idea!!!

Balderdash is great, and don't forget an oldie but goodie, Pictionary. We always have a great time with that one. Also, Uno is fun, my family gets cut throat with that one. Appetizer ideas - I have thrown together just a layered tortilla dip thing, that for some reason always gets great reviews and I never have any left, very simple: Spread sour cream over the bottom of a serving dish/platter spread medium salsa top with shredded taco or chedder (sp) put out tortilla chips. I used to just make 1 platter, always ran out, now make 2 and still not left overs.
edited to ask Niecey: The Battle of the Sexes sounds fun, where can I pick that one up?

Re: Need help with planning a fun night!!
I just ordered Battle of the Sexes and Ultimate Outburst. I am very excited. There was another game on there that I saw which was really cool, but I don't think it would be wise having all these drunk people drive home
