Need help with wording thank you's

Hi Girls,
I'm in the middle of writting my thankyou's. I'm kinda stuck on what to say to the people who couldn't make it but sent me a gift.
Any words you can throw my way??

Perhaps something like 'We missed you at our wedding and really appreciate the generous gift you sent. Be assured it is being put to good use!'
