Need Ideas

So I think Ive mentioned before that a tradition DH and I are starting is one my parents did as well...
Every year for christmas they save a stump of the tree and use a wooder burner to write the year, and who was part of the family that year...

like this year obvi its just me and chris...if we ever get a dog then the dog gets added too...kids etc...

i need ideas on what to write tho...
i kinda wanna be a little creative...

or should i just write
