ok so on saturday dh and a few co workers take turns bringing stuff in, so tomorrow is dh turns.
and we dont have any idea on what to bring any suggestion would be great.
this is what they have had recently
pizza, tacos, hamburgers, roast beef, abd hot sausage sandwiches
ETA: Just talked to Dh we are going to do a lunchmeat tray and nice sandwich rolls

Would you want to make Fried Chicken??? What about meatloaf?? Make it with the 3 meats, and then put bacon on top of it...ommmmmmmmmmm nom nom

last week I made mini meatloves for DH to bring in to the recording studio. Just make any meatlof recipe and spoon into cupcake pan with the liners. I topped each with a little bit of bq sauce. They bake faster than a regular meatloaf though.

They sell the meat in a pack in the meat section. It's veal, sausage, and beef. you mix them up like a regular meatloaf, breadcrumbs, eggs, maybe a little parmasan cheese if you want .maybe some garlic. Just like regular meatloaf. Then I place strips of bacon on the top and the bacon just renders off the fat into the meatloaf...it had to be the best meatloaf I have ever had...soooo delicious.

Good Seasonings Chicken with Artichoke Hearts
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless chicken, cut into bite sized pieces 1 (14 ounce) can button mushrooms 1 (14 ounce) can plain artichoke hearts 1 package Good Seasons salad dressing mix, prepared per directions 2 cups breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned) 2 beaten eggs 1/2 cup canola oil (for frying)
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat the eggs.
Dip chicken pieces in egg, then bread crumbs.
Heat oil in large saute pan til hot then add chicken in batches if necessary.
When they are golden, transfer to a 9 x 12 baking dish.
Drain the artichokes and mushrooms and sprinkle over chicken.
Shake the dressing and pour over the chicken mixture.
Place in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or so till bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
Serve over white rice.

ohhh subway makes a good wrap/sandwich platter. and not that pricey either I think.

I do live in Queens and I used to go to this little Colombian place on Broadway in Elmhurst to get empanadas. I live kinda far from there now so I only get them when Im in the neigborhood. I usually just make them myself these days.

Seriously...we all need a GTG where we just cook and bake all day....I want empanadas!
I made some once, the filling was delish, but the wrappers I used weren't the right thing and they fell apart :(
