My friend would like to find a Photographer that does 'different' pictures, not the usual 'staged' traditional pictures. She would like more candids....I didn't really research photographers when I planned my wedding, I knew who I was using.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

wedding group one take fashionable journalistic photos. but i think most photogrphers incorpoorate that into their bio. my vendor, WGO, can take both. they'll give you a questionaire asking the percentage for posed photos and percentage for journal photos; blk & white, color, etx. i hired another person to photo our ceremony in only journalistic style and he did a great job. your friend could do that.. have both.

Mark Kauffman's studio has great candid photographers. You can pick and choose your photographers based on their style and he has several really talented people to choose from. Their specialty is candids.

I'll second Verdi. We loved them. And my cousin and new CIL just used them for their Nov wedding and their pics are fantastic!

We used silverfox. We had both a formal photographer (traditional shots) and a photojournalist (candids) We love our candid shots! They really do tell a nice story.
Silverfox works a la carte, so the price is reflected on what you want, not on a package.
