I am meeting a friend Friday night and am looking for a good/fun Mexican restaurant down in the Penn station/Port Authority area.....or atleast not too too far away.....

How far is too far away?
Rio Grande is up on 3rd/37thish. Strong margaritas, decent food.
The BackPorch is on 33/3rd. Good Margarits, good food. Small bar area..mostly sit down eat and relax.

Maryanns is on 8th and 16th (I think 16th is right) really goos and very cheap. It is cash only.

I agree - I really like Rio Grande. Here's another suggestion - Noche it's on Broadway & 48th
