Need some of those fabulous prayers

May seem like a silly reason to need prayers, but to make a long story short, I have been very worried since August, when we got back from our HM in St. Lucia, that we got bed bugs from there.
I've been a complete nut, buying a mattress and box spring cover, putting any new clothes I buy in the dryer on hot heat for at least 20 minutes. DH thinks I've gone crazy.
This past week I've had red bumps showing up on my torso, not all itchy, but I went to look at the sheets and inspect them, as I always do and found a questionable stain at the corner of the sheets by the foot of the bed.
Anyway, we have an exterminator coming today to conduct a test in our bedroom that costs $175 and she said it's 90% effective and we will know within 24 hours if we have the suckers. Then if it's positive we'll have to test the other rooms at $175/room
I'm so terrified and this is the one time that I pray that I'm wrong about what I think we have going on here!
Not only does this disgust me, but it will be a huge PITA to get rid of!
No bed bugs!

Update: The exterminator came and I showed her my bites, but she said she's not allowed to tell me her opinion on the bites and that I should see a Dr. I showed her the mark I found on the bed and she said that it could be a blood stain. She checked the bed and behind it, and checked the couch. Didn't see anything but that doesn't mean we're in the clear.
On Monday, they're going to come in and set up a CO2 trap in the bedroom. They'll come back on Tuesday to check the trap and tell us if it's positive or negative.
Let's pray for negative because she told me the process of exterminating for it.
Get this! I'd have to clean every article of clothing and put them in sealed plastic bags and get them out of the house, then I would have to basically clean any items that I have, box them up and put them in storage. EVERYTHING has to be out, drawers cleared, closets empty, and it basically has to look like moving into a furnished home. All my stuff out! OMG this is nuts!!!!!! What a nightmare!

i know how you feel, DH has been working at the UN and they have them now i said if he brings them home im gunna kill him!

did you call the place who uses a beagle to find bed bugs?
i cant think of the name though
