Shrimp scampi is always yummy! and you can put it on a crostini...
This works really well with crostini or crusty bread to soak up the yummy sauce
you need one package of cherry tomatoes half a pound of shrimp half a pound of spicy italian sausage (out of it's casing) Olive oil Oregano 3 garlic cloves salt
Put cherry tomatoes in pyrex or oven safe dish, coat with olive oil, salt, oregano and crush the garlic put in 400 degree oven until the tomatoes burst once they burst put in the sausage and shrimp cook throughly until the shrimp is pink
Serve with crusty bread!
It's such a hit every time I make it!

Re: Need some shrimp receipes....
Coconut shrimp -- Easy and a great app.
I use the jumbo precooked shrimp
Dip them in egg, flour and then the coconut and throw in a pan with hot oil. Fry them until they are golden brown.

Re: Need some shrimp receipes....
fresh deveined shrimp 1lb paprika 2 tsp (or more depending on taste) salt turmeric (optional) garlic -finely chopped ginger - finely chopped oil - 1 tsp cilantro - a small bunch chopped
clean and wash shrimp and cook with no water with salt, paprika and tumeric till it changes color to opaque
add sliced onions, ginger and garlic and sautee for less than one minute and add shrimp and stir everthing so oil and spices coat the onions and shrimp.. put lid and let it onions cook down and shrimp absorbs all the aroma.. about 8 mins.. (do no overcook, or shrimp will be tough)
garnish with cilantro..

Yummy yummy!!!! I don't know which one to do first.
I was thinking to season them with garlic and herb & marinate them in olive oil and saute on bamboo skewers.

you're welcome! I put it over pasta when I made it too. It was a long time ago but I'm pretty sure the shrimp only take 10 minutes tops to cook

Re: Need some shrimp receipes....
my mom just sautees shrimp in a pan with garlic, butter, Salt and Pepper and some Paprika. It is soooooo yummy. We eat it with pasta mostly, but I guess you could serve it in a dish along side some rice or pasta as well.

Re: Need some shrimp receipes....
This is my famous Shrimp recipe! I make it all the time!
1/4 cup olive oil 1/4 cup lemon juice 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon minced garlic ground black pepper to taste crushed red pepper flakes to taste (optional) 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
DIRECTIONS In a large, non-reactive bowl, stir together the olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, and black pepper. Season with crushed red pepper, if desired. Add shrimp, and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Thread shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head. Discard any remaining marinade.
Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until opaque.
