need to find my husband a different job

Hello all,
Well let me take you back a year ago this week and then I will get into what happened last night,
My husband worked for fed ex for 11 years, one year ago this week his truck was robbed and because he couldn't prove it wasn't him he was fired.. 11 years down the drain, there was a appeals and everything but appently they were getting rid of all the top salies, so it was an excuse.. Very devasting especially w/ our future..
Ok so now he has been working w/ a friend for a bread route. His truck was stollen last night , he is ok and they got the truck back but are you kidding me..

SO if any of you hear of any kind of jobs out there please let me know.. even teachers assistants..
Thans for listening..

I am sorry to hear that!

My Dh was a teachers assistant in The Islip Academic Center years ago. He no longer works there, so I wouldn't be able to let you know if there is any openings. From what I remember, there were always openings for that position and some others as well. I know if you go onto the Eastern Suffolk Boces website and they will list phone numbers of all boces in the area. They will be able to give you a listing of all the open jobs in Suffolk. Good luck to your Dh!

That is how my DH started as a teacher's assistant and then he got his bachelor's and is on his way to getting his master's. He was an OR tech which he hated. He wanted to get out of the medical field, so he got a job at Boces. It gave him a reason to go back. It is a great way to get him to get his degree.
