Need Trip Recommendations...

For my office!
We go on an annual trip and next year (considering there's a recession on) we're looking to conserve a little and not spend $25k on the vacation. There's 6 people in the office and we're allowed to bring our spouses/ significant others. One of them has a VERY small baby and may take them, but only if its somewhere safe (no 3rd world countries). Its usually a 4-5 day vacation. I'm thinking no more than $2,500-$3k per couple incl air and everything.

We're looking for carribbean suggestions including hotels. We're probably going to go in early March or late February. Anything you can suggest would be appreciated! THANKS LADIES!

Oh and they've already been to:

Costa Rica- 2008
Vegas-2007
Cabo San Lucas- 2006
Bahamas (Atlantis)- 2004 & 2005
St. Thomas- 2003

Beyond that, no one was really here except the owner so it dosen't matter. I know he's never been to Turks and Caicos- anyone been there? Can they recommend a good hotel?

Palace Resorts in Mexico.

Alfonse and I stayed at Aventura in Riviera Maya but it's adults only.

Maybe some other ones?

eta again: It cost Alfonse and I $3700 (in June of 2006) including everything, but we upgraded to a better room...

I was to Turks and Cacios
It was wonderful - the water is really turquoise.
Granted this was close to 10yrs ago Beaches Resort just opened. It was not overcrowded with families but I understand it is right now.

I might have another recommendation someone I know stayed there.

How about Aruba or Jamaica?? I don't know prices but I know they have affordable hotels there

St. Martin/St.Marteen

Very safe, family friendly but there is also a lots of nightlife if you're interested. Also, great shopping too!

I've only visited these places through cruises but these are some of my favorite islands I have ever been to.....


Grand Caymen- GORGEOUS beach
Bermuda- quiet- beautiful beaches
Barbados- LOVED the place!
Jamaica- a lot of exercusions (waterfall- swimming with dolphins)

what about Punta Cana DR?

we ddi it for our honeymoon and it was in August and we got a 2 for 1 deal at one of the nicest resorts (Excellence) and the whole trip for us both was about $2,300? That was for 5 days. And when we got there we heard other people got even better deals: $2,100, $2,000 and for longer. Talk to a travel agent.

I know Jamaica is supposed to be very inexpensive as well.

all inclusive might be a great way to go. Thats def a pricey time of year in the caribbean but def doable! Look into jamaica and Punta cana. They are quick flights and have a wide variety of hotels.

The won't do all inclusives or cruises. They're used to staying at 4 and 5 star hotels. We have some adverturous people and some...not so much....
