What do you guys like to do? Do you ski? There are lots of slopes nearby that would make a nice weekend...Vermont, PA, upstate.
Do you want someplace quiet and romantic? Some typical summer places are so nice in the winter-quiet and peaceful, no summer crowds, less $$.
Give us some ideas-I'm sure you'll get a zillion responses!!

here's a thread that was posted on the BHB board a couple of weeks ago with beautiful romantic resorts that are a reasonable driving distance
If you want really quite, we stayed at this B&B in Vermont that was just the ticket. Of course I can't remember the name but I belive they have packages every year that include 2 nights, a 1/2 in room massage for each of you and dinner at their restaurant (which is top notch!)

I would LOVE a mini-vacation to Vermont. Newport, RI is also really nice. I stayed at the Yankee Peddler before.

I'm searching for ideas too! We're taking a mini-anniversary trip in February... I've been looking into B&B's but don't have a clue where. We want to go someplace that isn't too secluded, we'd like to do stuff during the day (snow tubing, ice skate etc). Sonicstef -- if you don't mind I'd love to get more info about the place in Vermont.
