Arghhhhh.... I'm still new at photoshop and I'm working on a project and I need to change the backround color but its locked. How do I unlock it so I can change teh backround color....Please I'm going to shoot myself

have you tried copying the background layer and pasting it back into the document to create a new layer?

if there's only 1 layer (background) its usually automatically locked
