Newlywed Luncheon Ideas....

I think I mentioned it before but should their be games or prizes like we had at the bridal shower???

I think it would be cool if we could get some vendors to donate to the luncheon...

Any volunteers who want to contact vendors???

Also anybody want to volunteer to put together a couple of games we can play?

Do we want to have a cake made???

Any other ideas that anyone has please feel free...

Hmmm im just thinkign what would be in it for the vendors ya know? We all have gotten married...what kinds of things were you thinking? I think once we have a date and more information it would be easier to contact them ya know?

Well the good business and us posting about it after the lunch and possibly getting 2010 girls interested in them possibly..I think colleen had some ideas like a TTD session, dinner for 2, etc...

I agree once we have a date it will be easier..I was just putting it out there so that if anyone wanted to volunteer.

I suggested that you contact some of the vendors who advertise on LIFamilies since we are now going to be our own little families. I doubt wedding vendors would donate to it at this point but LIFamily advertisers might. I don't want that job though.

Games sound fun.

That is a great idea...Cindy, once we have some more infor on the date and all I can try and contact some lifamilies vendors. I dont think too many wedding ones will bite, but we can do both!

Im so so serious i am dying to make like a lingere cake!! After making vins grooms cake im obsessed. Im making my dad a tbone steak cake where when we cut into it, its gona bleed

That is awesome and gruesome all at the same time. Want to help my mom and I figure out how to make DH's boat by his 30th birthday in July? Thats the grooms cake I wanted but couldn't afford to get him so I want to make it for his 30th birthday.

I made a boat lmao

I used sticks in it! Use vanilla cake, and thin layers of butter cream (About 6 layers)
Then stick it in the fridge
then slice it with a huge knife and use fondant for the little pieces
