Now it is time for us Newlyweds to choose a date for the Newlywed Picnic/BBQ GTG. It will be held at Eisenhower Park which is located in East Meadow which easily accessable for everyone. These are the choices of dates the two dates that get the most votes will go up for another vote and or one can be use for a rain date also. The dates choices now are.

Charlotte, I am not sure so far in advance, but I know July is a bad month-lots of birthday parties!

Michelle, You can post another date that might work out. If July does not work out maybe August even the very begining of September. If there is a specific date post it. Chat with everyone later. Newlyweds start voting.

i agree... that will be a tough weekend for people.. being that its 4th of july weekend.

I said Aug 2. Sundays are impossible for me b/c I have to come back to DC on those days (can't take off Mondays like I can Fridays). Congress should be in recess by that weekend and I should be able to escape. July is just too busy unfortunately. I hope I can make the date!!!

I think anything around the july 4th weekend, isn't good for to many people, and I'd say a lot of people travel that week into the following, so I say Aug 2 and then Aug 3 being the rain date.

I voted for The sunday in August but I wanna see Mooshyboo all preggo!!!!!! You know me, I'll go anywhere, anytime, but DH is only off on Sundays, so that's why I picked that day

A Sunday is best for us since DH & I never work on Sundays, but with enough notice, we can probably swing a Saturday. The only Sunday that won't be good for us is Sunday August 3rd because it's DD's 3rd birthday.

I voted for July 12th BUT any weekend in July EXCEPT July 4th weekend works for me!! July 4th in my anniversary and then I'll be moving sometime in August so I really hope I can make it!!

i voted for sunday aug 3rd sundays are better for us but its so hard to say right now because i dont even know whats going on for those months yet i'll be able to really stick to a date when it gets a little closer. aug seems so far away
