Newlywed Question for March 25th

OK so now that we are married ladies and 'on our own'. In your home what are you most controlling about.

For me it is definitely the placement of certain decorations in the house. His socks on the floor on a Sunday do not bother me but heaven help him if he moves the candlesticks or pictures.

The TP - I'm an 'over' person, he's an 'under' - I try to change it before he can. And the fitted sheets on the bed need to be perfect before I get into bed - otherwise they come off while I'm sleeping and then I can't sleep - drives me crazy!

I'm controlling baout him leab=ving stuff lying around, probably.....i like to take the empty wrappers and cups and put them on his pillow to remind him to throw them out.

and i get all squicked about the bathroom towles being straight.....that kind of freaks me out becuase it reminds me of the movie Sleeping with the Enemy

I really don't have to be controlling because he gives me free reign to do what I want with the house. I would be controlling over it if he didn't though. When it came to wedding planning or house stuff, he never cares about anything.

That's probably why the whole house is pink!

I'd have to say the TP...I need it to be over and facing out. Also....dishes MUST go in the dishwasher or at least the sink. He leaves half empty glasses all over

I'm definetly about keeping the house clean and organized. And he's good about helping to clean when I help...but I tend to go around afterwards and put things back in THEIR place. I've definetly got a touch of the 'Friends' Monica character personality!

organization and cleaning ... I am constantly washing the bathroom floor / toilet and sweeping the floors. I hate any hair/dust around.
He could care less if the bed is ever made or the clothes are all over the floor, it drives me batty.

I do NOT want his facial hair in or around the sink.
Nor do I want any other kind of hair around the shower or the floor when he dries himself.
I understand as we get older we'll 'shed' more but don't act like you can't see them! Otherwise he's completely under his own control, he's a good boy.

How the pots, pans and tuppeware are put away. I don't think I should have to open a cabinet and have these items spill out and then have to take everything out to look for a matching lid!

Yeah nesting just made me swell up like a mack truck!! Ok took a shot at the domestic goddess crap- now that is going right out the window
