This I read in a book and it made me think to ask you ladies about how do you compliment each other in your home, in your everyday life, just overall.

We almost never freak out at the same time!
things that make me go leave him calm, composed and ready for actions! And vv-some things that get him really upset really don't bother me at all!

So, whoever one is calm a the moment, takes care of the situation!

I am sure there is more, but that's the first thing that came to mind!

Im the mean one and he is the sweet one. So when we need a flight upgrade - my hubby is the one that charms the gate agent (people just naturally love him as soon as they meet him). When the airline messes up our reservation and you need to employ the big guns, he sends me to do the 'angered customer' bit. Sad state of affairs in customer service, but you would be surprised how often this comes in handy.

Im sure there are other ways but that one sticks out.

So if it weren't for me, we'd have NO social life, I get my man out of the house !!!!!!!!

Like Stef, but reversed. I'm the sweeter one of the two of us.

Also, he's a bit more organized than I am and I have to admit that I am a procrastinator where he just likes to get things done right away ... so that definitely pushes me to do things quicker, but never as quick as him. And I also relax him a little .. since he can be anxious at times.

We both like to go out and have fun ... but I tend to be more of the silly one where he can be very serious at times.

Just some examples ... but sometimes our personalities clash but for the most part, they compliment each other.

I agree with your comment about the elevator buttons - so very true.

Like Stef, I'm the hard arse and he is the 'oh well' shrug it off type. I cannot deal with incompetent people or people that say one thing and do another. I am the one that makes the calls to the contractors working on our house and complain about them being late, taking forever,etc. DH would just sit there and do nothing. I research the heck out of something before making a decision, or making a big purchase and DH pretty much just blindly chooses. I'm anal about certain things and he is not. I'm the adventurous one and he is the cautious one. I'm the risk taker.

I think the easiest way to describe it is I'm a New Yorker and he is a Midwesterner!

1. I am the hyper worry wort and he is the calm one.

2. I am the one who takes charge more, while he will sit back and see how things unfold.

3. I am emotional, he is not

4. He is more social, where I am more of a loner.

5. He is a good saver, whereas I spend, but he has helped me tremendously with that.

Roger is the procrastinator

I am the do it now

I am organized and anal

He likes to work under the gun...last minute

He loves to research long and hard

I buy it now and if I hate it I can always return it

We both like to entertain and host

We both like to travel.

He is the one that takes on customer service

I am the one he pushes forward to go and smile to get better service. You would think he was my pimp...LOL This is him, go honey, go smile your beautiful smile, men like that

He spends only when necessary

I spend on days that ends in Y

Len is not a planner, I am. I plan it all.

Len cannot organize anything if it bit him in the face,
I'm the one with all the spreadsheets and lists.

Len is a clean freak, I can't stand cleaning.

We both don't like to cook, but I'm getting there.

I am very affectionate, he wasn't always, but I have taught him well

I like to party and socialize, he likes to stay at home and watch tv, and have me all to himself.

We both like dining out.

We both like traveling to warm places :)

He's more adventurous than me, hands down.
