Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

Actually, that was when I stopped worrying. Through a year and a half planning, I doubted just about every decision we made, every vendor, etc. I was sure they wouldn't show up or not perform as expected.

Then about a month before the wedding it all went away - we did everything within our power to select reputable vendors whose work we liked and figured there's nothing we can do about it anyway. At the end of the day we'll be married and that was all that counted.

Have faith in your decisions! Know that the day will be wonderful!!

The more you worry, the more stress you are going to put yourself through. It will be ok, just take it day by day and everything will work out.
Best of Luck!!!!!!!!!

Just try to relax. Everything will come together very nicely and all your hard work will have been well worth it.

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

Yes, I know what you are feeling and I felt it too. Like all the things that go on behind the scenes, believe me you'll never look at a wedding the same way again, after you've planned one. I remember thinking what if they don't put out my placecards or put the candles out or something but trust your hall, it will work out great I am sure!!

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

Most of the wedding coming together is out of your hands at this point - so no use stressing over it! It will all come together..you hired professionals - so they know what they are doing!!! Enjoy and relax - it will all come together on it's own! Good Luck to you!

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

Yep, totally. And then one day, about 8 days before the wedding.........I sat down after putting the last piece of box tape across the last carton for the hall...let out a big sigh of relief and went to sleep!

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

I have to agree with Christine in that the stress gets less during that time...

my grnadfather died less than 2 weeks before the wedding...so it really put things into perspective for me...

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

I stressed over the smallest and dumbest things and when I look back on it now I'm like 'you big dope, why did you worry' but it's hard not to stress out before your wedding.

Before the wedding I was like 'I was this day over with, I don't the idea of being the center of attention' but when the day came and everyone was complementing me I ate it all up...LOL I didnt want it to end. The moment you put that gown on you are going to feel like a princess. My flowergirl kept telling me that I looked like one and she is 4 years old!

So don't waste any time stressing now and on your weddind day. Savor any moment of that day because it will go by so fast.

When is the wedding? Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Re: newlyweds: in the last few weeks before your weddings...

I was panicking thinking did I forget to do something? Am I missing something? Is there a vendor we need to book or having paid in full? I had a million checklists.
