For me, the pmi and taxes are included in my monthly mortgage payment. Then my other bills are, gas electric, cable, cell, car ins

At this rate, DH and I will never be able to afford a home unless we find a wealthy uncle that has suddenly passed and left us an over abundance of cash

Mortgage? our mortgage including taxes is $2575
Mortgage insurance? i dunno what this is but i don't think we have it
House insurance? approx $1200 a year
Electric? approx. $100 a month in summer, less in winter
Heat? ours is gas ... approx. $125 in winter, less in summer
Cable/Phone/Internet? $190

other things that have nothing to do with the house but that you should consider when pricing out are cell phone, car insurance, credit card bills and any other monthly expense like loan repayments, etc. you should also account for any repairs or money you may have to put out at any time for things that go wrong (which they do)

Re: Newlyweds who own a house...

Pmi or mortgage insurance is what u have to pay if you don't put down at least twenty percent on the down payment
