Newylwed Threads

I was just thinking how most of our threads on the 2011 (and other boards) were about wedding related subjects and now all of us are just chillin here talking about the most random things...its kind of fun...
But...does anyone else think we should like, do our wifely duties and talk about more NW stuff

well not so much duties...i guess i meant more along the lines of like...things that occur in our NW lives that could help other people out...like when we used to post about things that would help other brides to be out....

butttt my friend also introduced me to this site that is awesome

you can go to 'find my store' and then it tells you the deals of the week at that store PLUS links to coupons for those products so you can save additionally. There was cereal on sale at stop & shop PLUS a coupon that doubled up to a dollar and the cereal came out to 16 cents a piece!

my friend has become a extreme couponer and she's showing me the ropes

I think a lot of what goes on here is NW-related actually!

Of course the obvious topics are regarding the name change process, thank you notes, pictures/albums, In-laws, etc....

BUT, I think working out, weekend plans, recipes, recommendations, apartment/house questions, etc are all important things related to being newly married!

Perhaps it looks/feels different than what you thought but I think if you hang around long enough you'll see that most of what we talk about is in one way or another related to being married!

Personally, I love the newlywed boards. Right after the wedding, I didn't want to have anything to do w/ wedding planning

So it's nice to come on here, read about recipes, talk about what we're wearing, random thoughts in our mind, etc. I love it!

I totally agree with Adel, so happy not to discuss wedding stuff!!! but I am kinda excited to go dress shopping with my bff on saturday for her wedding....it's nice it's someone else and not me

ohh and I love the coupon talking!
