Next GTG

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a Newlywed GTG. It was great to meet so many of you but I really would have loved to have more time to talk...without the prizes of course!!

I saw something posted on the Brides board about having as BBQ. I guess the next GTGwill be just for brides so maybe we can have just a newlywed one.

I think it would be fun to have not only us but our hubbies also.

Lisa, I started the poll, the next GTG is for everyone and LIW is considering a BBQ, since it will be in June. I wanted to get a feel of how many people would attend. Are you interested in something before the June GTG??

I'll be taking 2 grad classes in Frb and March, so my weekends will be tight, but I'd like to attend, depending on where and when.

Me too, I will be taking classes....to increase my salary, so I think during the week will be tight for me.

Maybe we can plan something for April. It should be (lets hope) warmer then!

Maybe a Friday or Saturday night.

We can pick something closer to the Brooklyn/Queens girls next time.

I'm in ... but as I said in Shamma's poll ... can't say the same for Vinnie ...

maybe a more cocktail party atmosphere instead of the sit-down thing! I definitely wanted to socialize & meet more girls ... but it was hard!

I would be interested, but it would be nice if its a saturday night so that the out of town people can come.

Like JennRenee and Diane, I will be taking 2 grad classes too and my weekends may be tight. But if I'm free .. I'm there!

I always try to come to the GTGs, but Scott would not really care to come. I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to go to his Fantasy Football GTG.

personally, I would rather leave Harry at home but i know a few woman wanted to include spouses.
I dont think he would enjoy the 'ladies' talk!
Now if other husbands were coming then maybe...but not just him!! LOL

I'm down for the next get together. As for tony it depends. By the way he said that when he walked into the room he felt like Chris ? in the movie the Bachelor. He almost couldn't find me! LOL!

I had such a great time that I would go again, but I would not take DH with me. Personally, I'd rather chat and not have to worry about keeping him entertained.

I would love to go to a GTG for just Newleyweds. I wasn't able to go to the last one..but as most of you are saying, my hubby probably wouldn't want to go. I live in Great Neck, so anything in Nassau/Queens/or the city would be best for me.
