I too am doing the hyphenated thing & I feel weird giving up my maiden name. But most importantly.. at work I will probably always use my maiden name. I have been known in that circle for 8 years now... plus as I told my hubby... i had to touch DEAD people to get my funeral directors license!!! And the name on it is STAYING on it!! My firts boss was so nice to have my license laminated & put on a beautiful wooden plaque too! I would have to send it back to get a new one!!
I am sure when it is time for children, I will sing a different tune!! Then I will go by his name only for everything but work!
