I can't believe it!! you are NOT an outsider!!! where would the brides be without newlyweds to share their experiences!??!!!??!

and if you have to go...there are a number of us that do not live in the NY area anymore (like me!)...and should be told the same thing.

Ps...since this board is such a reat source of info...I check out the NWR board of sandiegoweddings.com...and the women are nothing but fabulous to me...

Oh damm then.. I got married on the island in Sept and lived there my entire life..

So, because I live in Florida now and we are moving to Texas at the end of the summer.. I'm not welcome!!

Debbie, from the responses I can see someone sent you a FM stating you are in FLorida so you should not be on LIW, guess what I am from Jamaica living in Bklyn, should I not be on here?? I also didn't see it, but that is just horrible!! I'm not originally from LI either, but who the heck cares!!!! You're in the same boat - we're all people with common goals, dreams, interests, etc., that's all that matters!!

And while we're on the topic of 'who belongs', the brides side isn't just for women either, and there have been a couple of guys (who were ALWAYS WELCOME) who participated on a regular basis.

Just ridiculous - ignore it!

I've had my feelings hurt quite a few times on this board (even now sometimes), but you just have to cross these people off!

well, from the responses, I get the jist of what happened.
DO NOT let this person make you feel uncomfortable. Who the Hell sent you that FM? You used to live on LI, your wedding was on LI, and you used LI vendors. Isn't that what this site is all about? Whatever. Some people just have to get over themselves!
