No FG?

Did anyone else not have a flower girl? It's one thing I wish we would've had, but we don't know any little girls In fact, I was the last girl born in my family!!

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one. I wanted my little niece, who was almost two when we got married to be my flowergirl, but my father kept telling me she was too young, what if she won't walk down. So stupid me listened to him just to shut him up. I wish I had kept her in!!

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one and to this day I wish I did. I also didn't have any little girls to ask. My ring bearer was my little blessing of a cousin and he was wonderful but I just love those little girls in the pretty dresses. I wanted to ask my family friend's daughter but they moved to Florida a month before my wedding - I was willing to pay for the dress - but knew the family wouldn't have been able to have paid for the flight to NY for the wedding and they weren't close enough for me to pay for that.

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one either but for the reason that I would have had to have 4 of them - I couldn't choose one girl over another.

Re: No FG?

i didn't either. But i just think they take the attention away from the bride, so i didn't want one. plus all the younger girls we know either wouldn't wear a dress i picked out (niece is SUPER picky 8 year old) or are too young and wouldn't make it down the aisle.

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one & didn't want one.....my church is huge & scary for adults, never mind a little girl/boy. Also, weddings are such a long day for the kids & their parents....I really wanted people to enjoy themselves.

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one either, but the only young girl in either of our families lives in Arizona and her parents weren't coming to the wedding, so it wouldn't have worked.
I didn't really miss it.....
I was a flowergirl once though.......and i may have been so cute i took attention away from the bride
except that i was wearing a bubblegum pink dress with bows, puffy sleeves and a hoop skirt.....

Re: No FG?

We didn't have one, either. There are no little girls in my family that are young enough.

Re: No FG?

I didn't have one because there were no small girls in wither one of our familes. We did have a ring bearer. I didn't miss having one, but I do think it would have been cute!
