I hear only good things about the new owners...used to be Villa Victors...but I have never been there since renovations...

I heard it wasn't very nice before the renovations...I was talking to someone who was there years ago. I love it know. I booked it when it was in the middle of renovations and there has been significant change in look and of course price!

I was MOH at a wedding when it was VIlla Victor.. I HATED the cocktail hour room.. it was downstairs in this room that looked like a VFW hall (im not saying there is anything wrong with VFW's but when your paying this kind of money.....)
The food was ok.. i had london broil, i didnt even know you could choose london broil at a wedding.. it was good... no complaints..

Suzanne- your post is funny...I have a similar story. I was talking to this lady (who know lives in Colorado) on the phone and she asked where I was getting married - when I said Villa Victor I could tell she had a bad reaction but wasn't saying it. Well as we were speaking, I guess she looked up the website for the new NRC and she started laughing...and said boy how things ahve changed. She had a similar reaction as you did. She had been there a few years back and described the place the same way you did - totally not like that now! The ripped the whole roof of the place and re-did it starting in early 2001.
