not happy
Hi, I am 5 months married , the wedding was beautiful, the highlight of my life, but lately I have been feeling down. A month after my wedding I was laid off from the job I worked at with Dh where I basically got to see him all day. Everyone told.me not seeing him as much' would.be better for.our relationship' I don't know how it would be better ?? I have been searching for a job since then & am still unemployed. I know DH is.supporting us right now, but I feel that I never get to see him or spend time with him anymore. I am alone all day & when he.comes home he is watching sports or on the.computer, we hardly even talk. I just don't know how things changed so much. If I try to talk to him about it he argues & gets mad. I just don't know what to do. I have heard people say everything changes when you are married & I didn't believe it would change much for us, but at this point I am wondering what is the point of being married if everything is so different now ? I didn't get married to.feel alone all the time.

Re: not happy
Sorry you are going through this. Have you considered writing your DH an email or letter telling him how you feel. Sometimes this helps me and my DH to communicate when a subject sparks an argument. It gives each of us a chance to 'hear' how the other one feels but forces us to think about what we are 'saying'.

This sound like a very good idea. I'm so sorry that you are going through this.
