Hello again ladies. I just was scanning I noticed that I was chosen as NOTW.. First of all I want to thank AeroJenn for this wonderful honor. Unfortunately, I haven't been the best NOTW so far, but I will try to make it better for the rest of my week! I just made DH spend another $3 for another 15 minutes of internet time.
Lets start out with something that is fresh in my mind now.... Post your favorite vacation you have taken in your life, and the one thing you remember from it.
Paris
I remember being able to drink when even though I was only 16. I was sitting there having a nice dinner sipping wine and I thought I was so cool.

this might sound cheesy but everytime we go to caesars resorts in the poconos. we always have such happy memories there

My favorite was our Honeymoon to Atlantis Bahamas. It was actually our first real vacation (and we've been together 6 yrs). We went to Vegas once for an hour and had to fly right back- DH's dad passed away . So it was nice to just relax and enjoy eachother on our HM!

other than my HM my fav vaca was when dh surprised me w/a trip to Punta Cana right after we got engaged. he told me about the trip about 3 weeks before it so i could take off of work and then the following weekend he proposed and then a week later we left for punta cana.

this is a hard one!!
italy - because i was 16 and got to drink and because, well, it was italy
myrtle beach '04 - because we had a cousins' reunion
ship & dip '07 - a 4 days cruise to turks & caicos, that was 'chartered' by the barenaked ladies & guster (two of my favorite bands ever) that i took with my two bffs from elementary school. we went to like 10 concerts in 4 days and got ridiculously tan doing so. it was amazing!!

Oh....now I'm excited b/c I'm going to Paris in November!
The best vacation I ever went on was my trip to Israel. It was the best time of my entire life. Everything about it....the culture, to food...it was another world and it was like heaven to me.

I used to go to europe every 2-3 years as a kid. In 1984, we went on a huge 2 week tour of italy.... rome, venice, pisa, perugina, and florence...... Dad went home to return to work, and mom and I visited family and went to berlin for a couple weeks, followed by bremen (north west germany) for another month.
the coolest part? A trainride through communist east germany.......
