That would be the bags I had made... they say 'Saving the World One Bag at a Time' and our names and wedding date.

this was the stained glass window that i made (and finished two days before the wedding! nothing like the last minute)!! it was important that i made this for a few reasons:

i wanted there to be some simple backdrop for us when we were getting married so that it would feel like i made our own little outdoor beach chapel. my dad had REALLY wanted us to get married in a church, but we didn't want to. in order for me to surprise my dad a little as well, i though he'd appreciate this gesture. and also, if you look at the window, there are a few items i soldered into the glass: two sea shells (representing me and brian), that i found on the beach when we were walking on the beach a long long time ago, the sand dollar, which was very symbolic for us (and it was part of the theme of our wedding) and the most important symbol was the wooden cross. my uncle (who passed away two summers ago) had made that cross for me when i was born out of our old church pew from 1888. on the back of the cross it says 'made for amanda leigh by her uncle cliff in honor of her birth'

anyway, i loved this detail of my wedding :o)

Without a doubt the boat... I know Chateau Le Mer brides come in on a boat, but not with the whole wedding party and saying Just Married and the date written on the stern, so it was def unique. The boat picked us up at my parents house and took us a half hour to Lands End. The ride itself was the highlight of the whole day (after the vows). I wish I had the pro pic that shows what we saw coming in, a sea of people watching us, we felt like celebrities.

Only a handful of people knew this was going to happen so we waited until the buses were there a lot of guests. My dad then called the GMs and we told the captain when to bring us in.

Definitely our Rockin Rock Band After Party!!!! We thought it was a pretty unique idea for entertainment and fun!!!!!

My one unique detail that I don't have a pic of was....

we had the valet put 2 roses in each car.... they had a thank you tag with our names and date on them and were left in each person's car.

the 2nd thing is the time capsule.
Instead of having a regular guest book (though we did have the photobooth one... so we had 2 things kinda... idk waht im saying but....) we did a time capsule and the guests have c choice between 4 piles of paper titled, In One Year, In Five Years, In 10 Years, in 20 Years. The guest can write their happy anniversary on it.... or they can write their predictions etc. It's fun and cute and different.

i also thought the photobooth is unique..... but its pretty popular on LIW... so I dont count that,

and i think our trolley was unique as well

and the bagpipers we had at the church and the royalton. they played during CH and our grand entrance too.

we had a snowflake theme and incorporated it into so many things!

For me - i think it was my mode of transportation - taking a pedicab to our wedding with our 'driver' in tux and flowers!!

ugh. .can't get my pics to upload - I am soooo bad at this - okay will try again!

I just remembered one other one... my guestbook. It was a coffee table book about weddings... I had people write all over it like a yearbook.

My mom and I did this rock the reception type of routine for our mother daughter dance.... it started off slow and then the DJ made the song 'skip'...and then we danced to mamma *****!! the guests loved it!!! it was so fun!
