morning ladies...
so... i have to make a dr. appt for my checkup (boo!) and i HATE the doctor, especially this type of doctor (hello, obgyn kinda dr...) so THIS inspired todays QOTD (don't worry...):


what is the most funny and/or most embarrassing thing that has happened to you (ever, recently, etc)?


this is more a funny story than embarrassing...only because no one caught me in action! for me, well if you knew me, you'd realize that this makes perfect sense - it's all very 'mandy'...i'm terrified of the doctor, i hate going, i hate making the appt. i hate sitting there staring at the walls and the weird posters, flyers, doctor 'tools'...even the cotton balls freak me out. Well i get really nervous, sitting there in my paper clothes, freezing and shaking (thanks nerves)... first i forgot how old i was (literally, forgot...like, the NURSE had to tell me how old i was - i was off by a year...)... then the doctor came in and asked how i was and blah blah...well, long story short, after surviving the exam, i couldn't wait to get out of there (as usual) so i hurried into the bathroom. and somehow (i really don't know how)... i accidently flushed my undies down the toilet and ALMOST flooded the bathroom... luckily they had a plunger in there and i just sorta plunged away until they went down all the way ( i certainly wasn't going to reach in you know...) but anyway, there i was, paper clothes, plunging the doctor's toilet because i somehow flushed my panties... annndddd that's what it's like to be friends with me.

Honestly, I can't imagine anyone will ever beat that story. EVER.

If there was a superlative for most embarrassing NWR story, you just won it.

I don't understand quite how that happened... but I'm glad you got out of there ok! I can only imagine the ride home being a little... uncomfortable.


I thought it was bad when I fell off my step bench in class two weeks ago. I've been going for 5 months and no one has ever fallen off their bench before (that I've seen at least).

I don't really embarrass that easily, especially around strangers.

hmmm i have a few..im sort of a walking time bomb..i ama total lutz

in high school..i split my pants during a volleyball game and everytime i walked down the hall people make a ripping sound

i also was on crutches after i hurt my knee and fel down a whole fight of stairs in front of like 30 people

but the 2 that people still tease me over..

a loooong time ago..i was shopping in mandees..i went to pay and a condom(dont ask me why i had one in my wallet)flew out onto the counter..the saleswoman picked it up and handed it to me and said'think u dropped this'

and 2

one time..i was preforming a deed(if u get my drift)in the car..i know im a dirty skank..this was a loooooong time ago...it was night tim at least lol..and all the sudden i hear clapping..we look up and like 3 kids have ben watching th entire time

i scream..DRIVE!!!!!!! and im still waiting for the video to pop up on you tube

Well, if you ask me and you ask DH, you'll get 2 entirely different answers...

According to him, my most embarassing moment SHOULD be when we were outside waiting on the student ticket line at the coliseum for an Islander game, and they had Bruno Gervais, one of the players, outside mingling with the fans since he had been injured and wasn't in the lineup. When he came up to us, I said it was nice to meet him, shook his hand, and said 'Good luck tonight!' He graciously said thank you, and I MEANT in general, like for the team, clearly he wasn't playing...but DH just thought I was an idiot and embarassed myself in front of somebody famous, and pointed out, right in front of him, that he wasn't playing that night. THAT was more embarassing than anything.

But my real most embarassing moment probably is back in HS orchestra, I had a crush on this guy, and after our concert my parents came back to the orchestra room to meet me and wait for me to pack up my stuff, and I'm situating myself, and all of a sudden I look over and see my dad talking to that guy! I panicked and asked my mom what he was doing, and my mom mentioned that throughout the concert my dad kept staring at him, and was convinced he went to HS with his father, because they looked alike. So my dad looked in the program, saw that there was someone with the same last name as his former classmate, assumed that it HAD to be the guy he thought it was, and then accosts him after the concert. Of course, he had no idea I was obsessed with him...but the guy had an inkling that I was, which made it all the more WEIRD that my dad was doing this...it turns out it was just a weird cooincidence, same last name, same face, but no relation...then my dad took the opportunity to point me out, ask if he knew me or was friends with me, etc....I wanted to crawl in to my violin case and die.

Mandy!!! That story is hysterical!!!!
