Did you have a 'theme' wedding, and by theme, I dont mean a color scheme! because I think we all had some sort of color scheme going on...with matching the flowers/dresses...im talking a more Heavy them wedding like the ones below:
If not, if you were forced/had to do a theme wedding what would you pick?
I had a beach/travel wedding theme...the dresses, fans for programs, sand ceremony, my RH was on the water, my invites were boarding passes, favors were luggage tags and my cardbox was vintage luggage.

I didn't really have a theme per se, but I did have an inspiration. Gardens, nature, fowers...That was the inspiration for my colors, which ran throughout the wedding. An accent detail that showed throughout, was the bow. My gown had a bow, do did my bridesmaids, my invites had bows as well.

I didn't have a theme, but I was inspired by all things Fall. I didn't put too much detail involving Fall, but some of my things, like my cardbox, favors, flowers, etc. were all Fall based.

We had kind of a garden theme and we used a lot of dragonflies on things.
But now this has turned into a bad thing, bc whenever I see something with dragonflies on it it reminds me of the wedding and I feel like I have to buy it.

I kind of had two themes going but if I had to say one I would say a formal beach wedding. But it had tons of ribbon accents (which could definitely been seen as Tiffany box)

I had Winter Love & Elegance. We were married on Valentines day in the winter (obviously) & everything had swarovski brooches & crystals. Very simple & elegant. Thats what i wanted. Simple & wouldnt change a thing.

It wasn't a hard theme, but I guess you can say I had a Venetian theme. I used Venetian masks as accent pieces, my colors were burgundy, ivory, and gold, and I had deep red and gold hurricane goblets with candles as my CPs, so everything had a really rich, jewel tone look in the reception room. Plus, my RH was VERY Italian, marble, crystal, so it all gelled with the theme really well.
If I had to pick another theme, it would definitely be Halloween. I wanted a Halloween wedding but DH freaked out and said it was disrespectful to the church

We had a 'green' as in eco-friendly wedding.
I went minimalist on decorations, and those I did use were reusable (like our vases were really water pitchers, which guests took and I still use today at home). Our favors were reusable grocery bags to encourage people to bring their own bags (guests still tell me they use them every trip to the store!). Also, by having a day-time wedding we were able to cut back on some energy costs. And, my dress was not new, which is one small way to save resources.

Ditto!
I would have to pick 'garden theme' because I was inspired by the autumn leaves.

Re: NWQOTD 5/18
I had a princess/royalty theme. I wouldn't change a thing b/c I think my theme is very much part of my personality, people said 'we knew you were going to have princess-y stuff' lol
