Okay this is a big weekend for us we are celebrating our first anniversary!!!!

I know alot of our anny's are coming up!!!

So let's do a quick review of your first year as a married woman.... good, bad, ugly, high, lows .... how wasit? what are you looking forward to NEXT.......

Well we had a rollercoaster of a year!!!! We were already living together in a house so no surprises there. But we did have some tough stuff to go through. My stepfather suddenly passed away in freburary and three weeks later mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been living with us for about 5 months and we are selling her house. Which has been very difficult.

I have to say through all of this shiz we have gotten stronger, and closer. we are truly a team and we tell each other how we feel about everything. and we are there for each other. I have never in my life felt so supported and loved. He just cares soooo much. He is so amazing. I don't know what son in law wouldn't mind having his mil live with him during their first year of marriage.

I can honestly say, if we can get through this year, we can get through anything!!! And we did!!! things are only getting better each day!!!

So I look forward to working on our house this next year and just enjoying being together. And helping my mom settle in her new place. We have a lot to look forward too!!

but our first year of marriage has been PERFECT! Everything is amazing. And I know 'marriage ISN'T A FAIRYTALE' but right now mine IS!

We went on the most amazing honeymoon, we moved into our new apt which has worked out GREAT (we just renewed our lease), DH is happy w work, I'm happy with work, we have been going to the gym together, trying new restaurants, watching movies, hanging out with each other & our friends. Life is amazing!!!!

We've been really lucky and our first year has been great!

House hunting for months was a little stressful but fun at the same time, and we bought our first house and are so happy with it. We got a puppy who is pretty much the greatest thing ever. And after 10 years of being with the same company I got an AWESOME raise (like 20%!) so that has really helped.

Other that the stomach issues I had from like January - April (def could have lived without that), this has been an amazing first year together!

OK so its only been 3 months and a few days but heres a mini update

went on an amazing hm, brought us closer together i think. we are renewing our lease for another year...we have been here a year already since last june. in january we plan to start looking and then around the spring, hopefully can go into contract on a house. this august, we are taking our first married vacay after the hm. dh is turning a MILESTONE bday which he would kill me if i announced lol. life is good. dh is working the same place he has for 13 years and for now plans to stay there, i might have some 'shifting in my job' coming up which would be positive for us because it would be closer to home so when i have a baby i can go back to work and commute so easily. thats it for now folks.

weve had our downs too since married but honestly nothing that different than before we said our vows. maybe just now i just see things a little differently because we are in this for the rest of our lives together so arguments are a little different because there is more behind it.

WHAT A YEAR! Honestly overall we had a fantastic year. Except for the MC we really have had one heck of a 1yr 4 months. We are very blessed & going through that situation really showed us we can get through anything. It was tough but it made us even stronger.

So looking forward to moving into our new home. YAY

Decorating it & more fun buying all new stuff for it. hehehehehe

Also looking forward to TTC again. I believe we will start in Sept.

Everything else is just gravy

Well you already read my post and all I do is go to Target and cry in the card aisle

So far this year has been great!! No big changes except for me being pregnant but we are super happy!

The good: The honeymoon, getting Candy (particularly the drive up there to pick her out and picking her up), my friend Bret's wedding, our week in Florida, finishing our bedroom and my walk in closet, setteling into our house.

The bad: Stomach issues/pain, colonoscopys, no job, DH on reduced salary, DH in CT ALL THE TIME! Not sure about budget, not sure we can afford our home, not sure we should be in NY and not in CT. Working at Rita's as a 30 year old. Definitely a tough year.

The ugly: My now very fat body after the honeymoon, moving in with DH, having stomach issues and the stupid pill.

Highs: OUR PUPPY!!!!!

Lows: Drs, Drs and more Drs.

How wasit? Not what I dreamed it would be, but overall we are happy and in love and that is what matters. It was hard to settle into my house and really leave my parents when DH was hardly here. I still haven't moved all my stuff so much more to do. We are so happy its summer and we have some time this summer to do what we love.

What are you looking forward to NEXT....... my BM's wedding in Louisville, doing little things on our house, building a deck, hosting my first Thanksgiving in my house, buying bedroom furniture, TTC!!!! Not looking forward to making the NY/CT decision in the fall and possibly the move to CT.

The first year has definitely been more 'good' than 'bad.'
I know I am 10000 times happier now than I have EVER been in my life, so I really try not to focus on the 'bad' because it is sooo outweighed by the 'good.' I feel very lucky to have finally married the man of my dreams....I waited sooo long and I really thought it was NEVER going to happen for me, so the fact that it did overwhelms me sometimes......

well i can honestly say the first month and a half has been splendid!!!
we have an offer pending on a house; we're both dying to get the heck out of MIL's house. as much as we have our own apartment, there's really no privacy.
as my DH puts it, when people ask him how married life is, 'same as before, only better'

2 months and a few days....

we are still waiting to close on our first co-op. on our 1 month anniversary, we hoped for more good news on our 2nd. and on our 2nd we just had co-op board interview whcih went well...s

so now we are really hoping & praying that we can actually celebrate our 3 month anniversary togethr in our new place!!!

im sure everything wil change once we have our new space together. as for now, we see eachother as often as before but we are still living our own lives

so i really cant wait to close and move in!!!
