NWQOTD Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!

I'm not a big Halloween person but when I was growing up my mom had a tradition of making beef soup with anci pepe. Now that she's in North Carolina I'm really sad. She would even make the soup after we grew up and moved out.

So, today's question is...

Do you have any specific Halloween traditions? Is there something special that you do for the fall season?

Happy Haunting Everyone!!

I'll announce next week's NWOTW later today, I've got to get to Gardiner's Park for doggie group class now.

Nothing special as of yet...once we own a house I'm sure we'll at least carve pumpkins and stuff. Maybe I will start making pumpkin bread...that would be yummy

Re: NWQOTD Happy Halloween

No...I'd love to have a halloween tradition. I think its hard because you never know what day of the week hallowen will fall on. Plus, DH isn't too big on Halloween.

I ran a Halloween 5k today, maybe I'll make that a tradition!

Re: NWQOTD Happy Halloween

I'm just excited to be home to hand out candy this year!!

I'm sure when we have kids though we'll carve pumpkins and go trick-or-treating with them.

Our Fall tradition is even though we got to Schmitts or White post farms we absolutely always have to go to Hicks Nursery to see Otto the ghost get roasted corn & then check out all of teh new Christmas decorations new Dickens Village pieces etc. We just love doing it.
