Good morning ladies! With TWOTY coming up, and having to come up with videos, I've had our wedding on the brain a bit lately. So the QOTD comes from there.
What was your most distinct memory from that day? The picture that stays frozen in your mind the most?
Mine is us dancing. Not our first dance, but at one point early on in the reception, 'I'll Be' came on, and I LOVE that song! I never asked for it to be played, and DH and I just got up and went and danced so close for the entire song. It felt like no one was around us, that we were in a quiet, dark, empty room. When we watched the video it was crazy, because there were like 6-10 other couples dancing to that song. People were pretty close to us at times, taking pics and stuff. I literally DID NOT NOTICE! Completely tuned them out. Anyhoo, that's my moment.

Right before i was about to walk down the aisle! i was the most nervous ive ever been in my entire life, nervous like holy crap i cant believe this day is happening and im about to get married right this second...and as i started walking down the aisle, the second i saw DH the nerves went away! i went from tears to a HUGE smile that didnt leave my face the entire day

Jess I was a nervous wreck!!!!! They kept lifting my veil to get me fresh air! There's a great photo with my arms up in the air because they thought I was hyperventilating haha!

Mine was seeing DH for the first time and him saying how beautiful I was. It was so amazing!!! I had the biggest smile on face the entire day!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and forgetting to say 'I Do' when we were saying our vows...I couldnt believe I forgot since I had worked on the vows with our officiant for days beforehand and I told DH to not mess up and I am the one who did. it did give us a laugh cause I said...oh yea..I Do, LOL!!!!

ah there were lots of special moments that i would not like to EVER forget but one of my favorite moments was during our second dance, to ray laMontagne, - 'you are the best thing' we had asked all couples to come and join us, and me and my DH had just like a moment, i looked at him and said 'this is it, how does it feel' and he said ' you are the best thing, and this feels freaking amazing! ' then we both looked around the room and i said to him look at who is here for us to share in our special day!
it was a moment i hope i never forget!

There are sooo many memories and even 6 months later we can't stop talking about how amazing the day was. For some reason the ceremony was a huge blur to me. I wasn't feeling well and my nerves got the better of me. But when the reception came around I was feeling great. My best memory is dancing with DH to Living on a Prayer with all of our friends. We looked and eachother and both said how amazing it is we have such great friends and everyone was having a good time. Even the older crowd was up and dancing. The floor was packed all night and that's what I had hoped for.

Mine was when DH requested Michael Buble’s “Everything” and dedicated it to me. We wanted to use it as our first dance but didn’t bc we thought it was too fast, so later in the night when it came on it was even better bc we had all of the pressure off of us and didn’t care if we looked like idiots while we were dancing!

THe moment after our ceremony when we went down to the bridal suite and just sat by ourselves..DH kept sayin 'I get to have you...forever...youre all mine..forever' and he cried and i lost it! it was the best!

I would have to second the memory of us dancing....DH NEVER EVER dances to fast songs and ALL night we were both out there dancing our butts off and just having so much fun!!!

DH and I used this song as our 'spotlight' song. It is also my favorite memory. It was torwards the end of the reception and we didn't have the band invite everyone else to the dance floor like we did for out first dance. All the stress was gone, our vows were said, the cake was cut and the boK had been tossed. At that moment it was ALL about us. I remember him twirling me around and us laughing and smiling and just being truly happy.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one, i was a total WRECK before I walked down the aisle. I was SO NERVOUS. And than after, it was alllll good!
